Dr. Frankel's research will focus on toxin fusion protein therapy using substances such as diphtheria, anthrax and ricin to target malignant cells. Unlike traditional chemotherapy, which often damages normal cells, the engineered toxins will attack the malignancy while leaving other cells unharmed. Cancer Research Institute
